Bugoma jungle lodge
Where Conservation Meets Comfort
Experience the Wild Heart of Bugoma Forest
A Wilderness Retreat at the Edge of Bugoma Forest
Nestled on the edge of Bugoma Forest Reserve, Bugoma Jungle Lodge is more than a place to stay—it’s a living part of a conservation story. Surrounded by 30 acres of private tropical forest, this eco-lodge offers an intimate retreat into Uganda’s wild beauty, where rare primates swing through the trees and birdsong greets you at dawn.
Our Story
Built in 2018, Bugoma Jungle Lodge was created as part of the Bugoma Conservation Project in partnership with the Association for Conservation of Bugoma Forest (ACBF). Long before the first guests arrived, the land was being restored—native trees planted, degraded areas revived, and wildlife corridors protected. Today, the lodge stands as a symbol of how eco-tourism can protect habitats, support communities, and offer guests a truly unique adventure.
Stay in Harmony with Nature
Our eco-friendly tented cottages are raised on wooden decks, with grass-thatched roofs and spacious en-suite bathrooms. Every veranda opens onto a lush forest view—your front-row seat to nature’s daily performance. Solar energy powers the lodge, and our on-site gardens supply fresh, organic ingredients for our Jungle Taste menu.
Bugoma Jungle Lodge invites you to wander among ancient trees, witness rare wildlife, and share in a conservation journey that restores both nature and soul.
